📍✨ A Little Bit of History at The Little John Inn, Ravenshead ✨📍
Did you know… our beloved pub has been welcoming guests for nearly 190 years? 🍻
🏡 The Little John Inn was built around 1837 by local farmer and draper Rowland Ward from Blidworth. Proudly standing on Main Street ever since, we’ve been part of the village’s story for generations — even appearing on maps as far back as 1884! 🗺️
Nestled on the north side of the village, near the charming Robin Hood Terrace, our pub is full of character and history. Step inside and you’ll find a truly traditional setting…
🔥 Rustic stone floors
🪵 Low, beamed ceilings
🪑 Cosy pew-style seating
…all adding to that warm, timeless atmosphere we’re so proud of ❤️
🌳 We’re also perfectly placed near the historic Newstead Abbey, right in the heart of Robin Hood country. Legend has it that just nearby at Fountain Dale, Little John himself once battled Friar Tuck! ⚔️🌿
Whether you’re popping in for a pint, a bite to eat, or simply soaking up the history, you’re stepping into a piece of the past every time you visit 🍺✨
