The Birds of Prey displays are back......

Flying displays by SBW Raptors at 1:45pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

Free Entry (donations for care and welfare of the birds would be greatly appreciated)

You can also book a private falconry experience where you’ll have the opportunity to fly and handle these incredible birds yourself - to avoid disappointment, these experiences must be pre-booked directly with SBW Raptors.

Come along, meet the birds, learn about their amazing natural abilities.

There is also a café, adventure golf, a craft village, a war museum and of course The Water Mill

Enjoy a fantastic day out for the whole family.

We had a rather special visitor at the Mill today—a hummingbird hawk-moth! 🌸

They are so quick so not the easiest to keep up with and film 🤣

They really do look like a tiny hummingbirds hovering from flower to flower.

It seems like there's been a few spotted on the Island this summer. Have you spotted one?

Experience the Thrill of Falconry at Calbourne Water Mill!

Enjoy spectacular flying displays by SBW Raptors at 1:45pm, Tuesday to Saturday. Entry to Calbourne Water Mill is completely free, and while there is no charge to watch the display, donations are greatly appreciated and help support the ongoing care and welfare of these magnificent birds of prey.

Looking for something even more memorable? Get hands-on with our daily falconry activities, or book an unforgettable private falconry experience where you’ll have the opportunity to fly and handle these incredible birds yourself.

Private falconry experiences must be pre-booked directly with SBW Raptors.

Thank you to Alan and his team at Calbourne Mill Heritage Group who bought history to life at the Mill on Wednesday.

They were on-site displaying some incredible artifacts discovered right here on the Island and brought out their metal detectors to search the riverbed for hidden treasures.

Our visitors loved the historical displays (and the Land Rovers!), so we are already planning to make this a regular occurrence—especially once we get a bit of rain to soften up the ground for more exploring.

Our Mission and the ultimate goal is to gather as much historical information about the Mill's rich history as we can.
