The new door glass arrived this afternoon with two men in dark suits and a red carpet.

We thought it was excessive until we remembered that 123,000 people watched what happened to the last one. So folks, on with the show.

Ah, Newport.

Unfortunately we've just come to work to find this. It's going to take us some time to sort out so we're not sure if we can open today. We'll post updates here. Thanks for bearing with us folks.

Four delicious pale ales for a deliciously warm Thursday.

On draught:

Magazine Cover from DEYA. Crisp, soft and loaded with Idaho 7, Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic.

Jelmore from our new favourite brewers Nothing Bound. Citra and Riwaka with notes of mango, passionfruit and lime.

In cans:

BEAK Tides. Pulpy pineapple, soft body and a little sappy resin.

And last but not least, Charismatic Megafauna from Azvex. Citra, Waimea and Simcoe with notes of mango, lime, orange, grapefruit, passionfruit and pine.

Interesting, as usual.
