(P/T WEEKEND)

Quay Arts are looking for a Team Member to work in our popular cafe/bar.

Our Hospitality Team is proud to provide an excellent customer experience in our popular riverside cafe/bar, serving customers daily as well as at our varied functions & events.
We can offer an excellent work/life balance with the majority of shifts based during the day.

Ideal candidates will have:
• A current food hygiene certificate
• Have experience of working within a busy hospitality environment
• Experience of delivering a high level of customer service and food hygiene
• Barista experience

Located in central Newport by the riverside, we are a registered charity providing creative experiences and educational opportunities for the local community.

We have a delicious range of light bites such as our Vegan Pistachio Carrot Cake, Homemade Coffee & Walnut Cake, Homemade Victoria Sponge, Lemon Drizzle loaf, Gluten Free Chocolate Cake, Toffee Sponge, Blueberry or Lemon & White Chocolate Muffins, Fresh Cheese or Fruit Scones and fresh salads.

We have Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free options available, we are currently running a limited menu please see our social media stories or specials board for our current menu.

We are a dog friendly business, all our fluffy friends are welcome anywhere in the building!

VACANCY - HEAD CHEF (Full time)

Quay Arts are looking for a Head Chef to join the team in their busy café. .

Our busy café is open daily from 9am - 4pm and has a reputation for exceptional service, excellent Island Roasted coffees and high quality reasonably priced meals. The centre often hosts music gigs, conferences/meetings, private hires, and weddings, (amongst many other events), and the Head Chef plays an integral part in assisting with planning and delivering many of these.

The Head Chef role at the arts centre is a fast paced and varied one. As well as delivering the daily menu in our café to a high standard, you will also be expected to bake cakes, plan and deliver meals / buffets within budget for the various events held here, maintain health and safety standards and ensure cleaning practices are upheld to a high standard fulfilling all EHO administration requirements.

Most shifts are day based, but flexibility is essential to accommodate additional business needs as required.

ALL DAY BREAKFASTS AT QUAY ARTS THIS WEEKEND!🍳🥓

Need somewhere close to re-fuel from the Isle of Wight Festival ? We are serving delicious breakfasts and baguettes from 9am - 3pm, Friday to Sunday!

Only a 10 minute walk from the site, with FREE Wi-Fi available in the café and lots of seating, we're the perfect place to get you set for the day☕🥪.

When you're on site, make sure to check out the Kashmir Cafe tent for incredible live music, brilliant atmosphere and lovely cherry beer. It's run by volunteers, and all profits go to us here at Quay Arts! 🍺🎉🎤
