🍁 Autumn opening hours 🍁

As of Thursday 1st October our Autumn/Winter hours will be in place.

Open: Friday-Wednesday 11am - 11pm
Kitchen open: 12-8pm Sunday: 12 - 5pm
CLOSED Thursdays.

Also, you’ll be happy to know we’re not taking our usual autumn sabbatical this year!

Beef bourguignon suet pudding, horseradish mash, heritage carrot, charred shallot and red w**e jus

Leaves are dropping and so are our new autumn dishes:

🐦 Rosemary and juniper marinated pigeon breast, caramelised onion puree, pickled blackberries, beetroot, red vein sorrel and jus

🐖 Pork tenderloin wrapped in Serrano ham, black garlic pomme Anna, boudin noir ketchup, pork cheek Bon Bon, tender stem broccoli, mustard jus

🫜 Beetroot gnocchi, roasted beetroot, pickled golden beetroot, wilted spinach, roasted pint nuts all topped off with whipped goats cheese

Join us this Sunday 13th from 8pm for the Harvest Auction! All produce is gifted from Castleton Show, along with some delicious donations including local fruit, veg, cakes, flowers, preserves and gorgeous homegrown goodness.

After the bidding fun, settle in for a light supper and proper homemade crumble. Every penny raised goes right back into the community, donated to the Over 70’s.

Rain? Shine? Snow? A light sprinkle of “typical British summer”? Doesn’t matter - we’ve got tents up everywhere like we’re preparing for a very dramatic camping trip.
Nothings stopping the music tomorrow! Bring your mates and your best festival spirit!

Don’t forget, we’re closed on Monday 31st for the clean up job!

When the sun goes dark, the stout flows! To celebrate the solar eclipse, we’re serving up pints of Guinness for just £3!

Offer valid during the eclipse while stocks last. Drink responsibly.

On Wednesday 12 August 2026, we will see a partial solar eclipse, when around 90-96% of the Sun will be covered by the Moon.

Come along and enjoy our BBQ and sit around our fire pit while watching the solar eclipse.
