We are making a change to our weekend opening hours and offering.

From October, we bid farewell for now to our Coffee & Buns at the weekends to give the team a little more space getting things ship-shape in time for a great lunch. Thank you to everyone who made them a regular weekend treat, and to anyone who dropped in once or twice along the way.

Our last Coffee & Buns morning will be Sunday 27th September. Grab a sweet or savoury bun with a coffee for £5. Once they're gone, they're really gone.

Moving forward, we'll be opening at 12pm for lunch on Saturdays with à la carte, followed by dinner service in the evening.
Sundays, we'll open at 12.30pm for our sharing menu.

At the end of the month, we'll be hosting Wine Club №5, exploring the food and wine of a brilliant region - Emilia-Romagna.

Menu featuring some comfort classics:
• Pasta fritta, parmesan & mortadella
• Balanzoni
• Cotechino, lentils & salsa verde
• Zuppa inglese

A buffet dedicated to what we love most about summer featuring homegrown produce, vibrant salads, local meat and sustainable fish from the grill.

Earlier this week, Fred & Ted were in the big smoke at the 100 Best Local Restaurants Awards. We’re super proud to be the only Gloucestershire spot on the list, and rubbing shoulders with some of the UK’s most delicious restaurants.

An enormous shout-out to our small but mighty team, and also to the best locals that a best local restaurant could ever hope for 😜 We’ll be raising plenty of glasses this weekend… to the Post team, our regulars, and all the other restaurants championing cooking rooted in place.
