Earlier this week, Fred & Ted were in the big smoke at the 100 Best Local Restaurants Awards. We’re super proud to be the only Gloucestershire spot on the list, and rubbing shoulders with some of the UK’s most delicious restaurants.

An enormous shout-out to our small but mighty team, and also to the best locals that a best local restaurant could ever hope for 😜 We’ll be raising plenty of glasses this weekend… to the Post team, our regulars, and all the other restaurants championing cooking rooted in place.

We’ll be back in France in May, enjoying ourselves in the sud-ouest, for our next Wine Club dinner .newnham. We’re very happy to have Ben from return to share some of his favourite bottles from Gascony, paired with a five course dinner. As before, we’ll also have some special deals on half and whole cases on the night.
