Mismatched art and old wallpaper designs displayed in all Lounges, is an intentional ๐design choice aimed at creating a relaxed, quirky, and "home-away-from-home" atmosphere. ๐๏ธ๐ฅฐ
One of the main reasons behind our distinctive art style is it being literally based on the founder's grandfather's living room aka lounge ๐. (Do you get it now ? ๐๐ฅณ) Using a mix of mismatched frames and styles to replicate a cozy, lived-in family living room! ๐งโ๐งโ๐งโ๐งโค๏ธ
All of our different artwork is hand-picked as well as vintage photographs ! ๐ฅ (some of our pictures are of actual staff family members ๐ฅน)
Our art and quirky frames ๐ผ๏ธ are sourced from various places, ๐ฃ๏ธ such as local flea markets, auctions, vintage shops, and eBay. ๐
Some of our sites also feature custom or hand-painted work specifically designed for the space to enhance our quirky aesthetic. ๐
One of our paintings was painted by one of our old friends j.m.asker.artist (sadly missed ๐) but now works in bordoloungecarlisle ๐ค๐
