Advert for the old Haldy Indian Restaurant on Park Lane. The photo shows the back of the restaurant, with a somewhat different theme compared to now! :)

I think Haldy was around about a decade ago.

Missing all of my lovely customers, but soaking up these newborn cuddles for a while longer yet!

Good morning all!

We hope everyone has had a lovely weekend so far.

We asked a few weeks ago for a local charity to support, with lots of fantastic recommendations given.

We are proud to announce that we have partnered up with Just George. The fundraiser is now live on our in house platform.

Video in comments on how to select and make a donation when ordering your usual takeaway, should you wish to do so.

As always, at the end of the designated period - we will match every penny donated, doubling the total value raised.

Many thanks as always for your support

Running an independent small business comes with incredible highs, but the tough days hit hard.

Anyone in hospitality knows how much effort goes into earning a great reputation, and how easily a single 1 star rating can sting when a dish simply does not align with someone personal taste.

We are immensely proud of our overwhelming 5 star ratings across our platforms, which our team works tirelessly every single week to maintain.

Indian cuisine is wonderfully diverse, ranging from fiery regional curries to classic British Indian Restaurant styles. Our Chicken Tikka Masala is crafted in that iconic tradition. It is mild, rich, and distinctly sweet with cream and almond powder, which is the classic bright red national favorite so many know and love.

Because everyone palate is different, we make sure detailed descriptions are crystal clear on our menu so guests know exactly what flavor profile to expect before ordering.

When an issue or query arises, small businesses always prefer a quick email or call first. It gives us the chance to talk things through, guide you toward a dish better suited to your taste, or rectify an issue directly.

Newmarket has a wonderful variety of Indian Restaurants/Takeaways. North Indian, South Indian, Kerala, Indo Arabic, Bangladeshi... Just takes a few seconds to research your preferred style.

To the 99 percent of our customers who support us week in and week out, thank you for your continued love and support. You keep our small kitchen going. ❤️
