𝘾𝙖𝙣 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙥❓

Although Lins Café is now closed we have for the last 2 years been the base for the 2 day Newhaven and Denton Santa tour.

The new owners are kindly letting us use this as our base this year but we have hit a major issue.

Our funding grant has been refused. And the tour is supposed to be Next week, 10th and 11th.

The people that put on this event make no profit from it.
We do however need money for Public liability insurance which has basically doubled this year, Fuel for the car towing the sleigh and the rear guard car, Petrol for the generator, and sweets, lots and lots of sweets.

Can you spare a small amount to make this event happen?

Today we cleared our final bits and bobs from the cafe, including our recycled pallet sign which is now gone for recycling.😔

The food trailer where Lins all started has gone. 😟

Last night saw a get together at The Hope Inn Newhaven of most of the people and their partners who have helped Lin and Barry to make Lins Café come to life.

From moving from the beach, ongoing maintenance work, cooking, serving, jumping in when it got crazy busy, washing up (lots of washing up), without you all we couldn’t have done it.

We would like to thank The Hope Inn for catering for 14 of us.
Our meals all came out together as ordered and piping hot.
The new team at the Hope are doing a fantastic job.

We will let you know of the new owners progress if and when we can.

ＣＬＯＳＥＤ

We have turnned off the hotplate for the last time closed down the Coffee machine, chairs up on the tables.

Thank you so much to all our customers for your support, kind reviews and regular visits, to everyone thats worked for us helped us and recomended us.

The cafe is now sold and should be reopening in January.
We will try and keep you updated.
