Can you believe we're already in August? This year is flying by!
If your Chatty Table feels a little quieter over the next few weeks, please don't be disheartened. 💛
Every year we see a natural dip during the summer holidays. People are away on holiday, spending time with family, looking after children or grandchildren, or simply making the most of the warmer weather.
This is completely normal.
The conversations you've created throughout the year still matter, and your Chatty Table is still making a difference, even on the quieter days.
Before long, September will be here. As routines return and the evenings begin to draw in, we see more and more people looking for connection, companionship and somewhere they know they'll receive a warm welcome.
Those autumn and winter months can be some of the most important times for a Chatty Table.
So, if just one person walks through your door looking for a friendly face, you've already made a difference.
Thank you to every volunteer and every venue that continues to show up, offer a smile and make time for a conversation. Together, we're creating communities where everyone feels they belong.
