MENU RELEASE！

To celebrate our first anniversary, we’re bringing the night streets of China to our supper club, for one night only.

Sichuan · Hunan · Shanxi · Hong Kong · Beijing

Think of it as a journey through the night streets of China, from the famous Roujiamo “Chinese burger” of Xi’an, down to Hong Kong-style curry fish balls from the night markets, and other favourites we’ve been waiting to share with you. (Vegetarian options are also available).

Had a lovely tea and chat with Sharmishta, talking about China, India, food, culture, life and our supper clubs.

In India, there’s a beautiful word: Adda （আড্ডা）— sitting together, having tea, talking about everything and nothing, with no particular purpose. ☕️

In Chinese, we have something very similar: 聊天(liáo tiān), simply chatting, sharing stories, and enjoying each other’s company.

Perhaps this is one of the beautiful things China and India have in common:
tea, food, conversation, and the joy of spending time together.

So maybe… an India–China Supper Club is coming soon. 🇮🇳🇨🇳

Shanghai-style Pickled Mustard & Pork Mooncakes 🥮

A true Shanghai classic, flaky, savoury and filled with juicy pork and fragrant pickled mustard greens. Each mooncake is stamped with the traditional Chinese character “福” (fú), meaning blessing, good fortune and happiness, a timeless symbol of good wishes for the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Mooncakes are at the heart of the Mid-Autumn Festival, so much so that some people simply call it the Mooncake Festival.

Traditionally, their round shape reflects the full moon and symbolises reunion and togetherness. Today, they come in all kinds of shapes, flavours and fillings.

We’ll be serving our homemade mooncakes at Mid-Autumn Supper Club, a special evening of Chinese flavours, seasonal dishes with tea pairings, and celebration around the table.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is all about reunion, gratitude and togetherness, bringing people together under the full moon to share food, mooncakes and stories. We want to bring that moment to our table.
