Introducing our MEAT:STACK x Colmans Fish and Chips menColmans Fish and Chipsof 100 Years of Colmans (old as owt) and 10 years of Meat:Stack (bairns) - we thought it best to invite you lot to celebrate too. By scranning the best hot fish sarnie to ever hit the Toon. 🎣

Add salt & vinegar fries, proper chip shop curry sauce AND the nostalgia of Dandelion & Burdock in the mix… looks like we’ve caught ourselves a big one. 🤝🏼

What can we say about Tuesday evening?

Genuinely one of the most wholesome and lovely evenings we’ve ever been a part of. 🥹

Seeing so many of you show up to meet one of your heroes was absolutely lush, and we feel incredibly grateful that our little restaurant got to be the backdrop for it all.

The fact that the Leeds United captain and two other players came along to join Anton made it even more memorable. No wonder Leeds was already in love with this bloke eh?! ⚽️

Here are a few of our favourite shots from the night. A massive thank you to — not only for these photos, but for everything he did to help us coordinate such a brilliant event.

And, of course, a huge thank you to Anton Stach for embracing the whole idea and being so genuinely down to earth throughout. He gave so much time to everyone who came through the doors, and we couldn’t have asked for more.

Anton’s Moustachi Cheeseburger is now on the specials board for the next month, with £2 from every burger going to the Elhadj Diouf Foundation. 🍔

Massive thank you to Anton and his team for being so incredibly accommodating and fun. Been an absolute pleasure and the fact he is doing this totally off his own back after embracing the idea.

HOW IT WORKS 👇

The event is first come, first served.

Purchase your burger and you’ll then join the meet & greet queue to meet Anton.

Numbers are limited and we will stop selling burgers for the meet & greet once we reach event capacity, so arriving does not guarantee entry.

We recommend getting down early.

Our Leeds restaurant will close for normal service from 6pm while we get everything ready.

A proper North East institution meets a slightly younger North East institution, and we’ve spent the last few months working out what happens when over a century of fish & chip know-how meets our obsession with putting things between bread.

Turns out, something pretty special happens. 👀

Anton came down to our burger joint on Bishopgate St last week to cook up a storm… and now he’s coming back to put the moustache in MOUSTACHI 🥸

£2 from every burger sold will be donated to EDF-Elhadj Diouf Foundation as chosen by Anton ❣️
