With a history steeped in good quality music and football this Newcastle neighbourhood bar facilitates the needs of everyone fortunate enough to pass through its doors on a day-to-day basis. Built upon a community of young professionals, students, and avid football fans our local bar has witnessed many a regular along with welcoming the passer by thirsty from a summers day in the park. However we’re not just about the alcoholic refreshment here at The Trent, we serve fresh coffee on a daily basis, the perfect accompaniment for a corner and a good book. I suppose the most important thing about our little boozer is that all are welcome, be it the start of an evening, a meeting place for friends,
or simply somewhere to see a friendly face. We look forward to sharing our home for home with you.

Where the whole city wraps itself around the beautiful game. Now you’re forgiven, it’s the international break, but things will return to business as usual soon enough.
You’re more than welcome around these parts, but respect the old guard, the passion for our club, and the traditions we hold dear.
