Locally caught, charred North Sea devilled mackerel with an Isle of Wight tomato, fennel, red onion and mint salad.

Confit tomatoes on toast with garlic, za’atar and seasoned yoghurt. If you could smell this through the screen, you’d definitely want to try it!

JOB OPENING. FOH MANAGER £45,000 plus TRONC

Unfortunately we are loosing our super star General Manager. He’s built this business hard and the place has truly transformed the place but his time with us is ending shortly.

We are now actively looking for the person who can take on this position with the same drive and passion. Kilns a special place and we want someone who cares about the Ouseburn, craft, community and enjoys working on the floor.

This isn’t a laptop job, your main responsibility is to lead the team from the front. It’s a hands on lead from the front job but you’ve gotta know your stuff and understand the maths at a high level.

We encourage applications from all backgrounds, this cafe, restaurant and pottery is a family business. It’s been running for nearly 10 years and there’s an amazing community of regulars. We need someone who gets local food and Middle Eastern food. Sharing cultures and sharing stories is at the heart of kiln.

Day 1 of the Pottery! This feels like a big moment and it’s almost 1 year late and we couldn’t have known that when we took a break. Me and Rosie back together as a dangerous duo. Big announcement about all this later but I wanted to mark the day. And thanks for all the help. It’s amazing to be a pottery back on the original site of the world’s largest pottery!
