A chapter ends …
It is with sadness we announce that ROUTE is now closed

Business can sometimes mean making difficult decisions & for us they needed to be made over and above our love of cooking beautiful produce & giving great hospitality.

Unfortunately we have been unable to agree terms on our building going forward so we have had to allow our heads to over rule our hearts on this particular decision.

We are sorry to have to disappoint so many guests. but it has been a comfort to know that ROUTE has remained a firm favourite on Newcastle’s amazing food scene right until the end.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the best suppliers who’s produce has allowed us to create some truly memorable dishes for our guests

We are so grateful for the many accolades awarded to us and have never taken them for granted.

A massive thanks to our guests for your custom, and a huge debt of gratitude to our staff past and present for making ROUTE what it is
