More Than Just BBQ – A Family Business

Texas Smoker has been proudly serving authentic American BBQ for over 13 years. What started as a passion has grown into a business we’re incredibly proud of, but one thing has never changed – we’re still a truly independent, family-run business.

Owned and operated by Garry and Jo, you’ll find us at every single festival and event. We don’t just turn up – we’re hands-on from start to finish. Jo runs the kitchen, making sure every order leaves to the highest standard, while Garry oversees the smokers, ensuring every cut of meat is cooked low and slow to perfection. When the day’s over, Garry is still there helping with the log shifts, build-up and pull-down, because that’s what running an independent business is all about.

We’re passionate about supporting other family businesses too. We proudly source from trusted local suppliers, including Freeman & Sons Butchers who supply all our meat, Log a Log who have supplied logs to every event we’ve traded at, more often than not , delivered by Guy and Sue the owners, and Dear Brothers a family-run wholesaler who share our commitment to quality and great service. We work on a regular basis with D&J Catering ran by the Greaves family.

Every burger, every brisket, every rack of ribs and every plate we serve represents years of hard work, long days, late nights and a genuine love for what we do. When you choose Texas Smoker, you’re not supporting a big chain – you’re supporting a local family business that puts everything into every event.
