Sunshine in Newcastle calls for a serious slice of summer. ☀️🍋
It’s officially Friday Pie Day tomorrow at 2knives Kitchen, and we’re celebrating the warm weather with the ultimate crowd pleaser, our house made Lemon Meringue Pie.
All of our pies are baked from scratch right here in the kitchen. We have loaded a buttery biscuit base with a rich silky lemon posset and piled it high with fluffy toasted Italian meringue. It’s tart, sweet and unbelievably light.

We’re dropping a brand new special at 2knives Kitchen this Friday and Saturday, and it’s a pure Southern comfort masterpiece.
We’ve baked fresh, flaky buttermilk biscuits from scratch, layered them with thick slices of our house-smoked sausage, topped them with two perfectly poached eggs, and drenched the whole thing in rich hollandaise.

If you want to eat like Dave this week we’ve got the “Dave Special.” at 2knives🍗🍳
Our Shin-ply The Best breakfast has been flying out at hoults yard but when the staff order it we lose the bread and swap it out for our signature Fried Chicken.
It’s pulled beef shin and black pudding stacked on crispy fried chicken, topped with poached eggs and that lemony hollandaise. It’s chaotic, it’s decadent, and it’s exactly the breakfast you need to start this bank holiday weekend in Newcastle.
