This is exactly how your refund policy is failing independent restaurants.

A customer claimed a refund because garlic sauce was โ€œcoldโ€ and Rubicon Mango was โ€œcoldโ€.

Garlic sauce is supposed to be served cold. Soft drinks are supposed to be cold.

Yet you refunded the customer and penalised the restaurant.

This isnโ€™t customer protectionโ€”itโ€™s a system that encourages abuse while honest takeaway businesses are left paying the price.

Small independent businesses work incredibly hard to survive. We deserve fairness, not automatic refunds based on unreasonable claims.

Itโ€™s time for Uber Eats to review its refund policy.
