Scream For Pizza Your local Neo-Neapolitan pizza joint! However at this stage they were not entirely sure how to go about this. Scream was born!

The idea for Scream For Pizza came about when stage and production manager Victoria Featherby (Feathers) and former vocalist and entertainer Alex Walker met working on a cruise ship in 2010. They both had an ambition to start a business that encouraged community interaction through the enjoyment of their 2 favourite things: food and live entertainment. They have spent the last 4 years working, sch

eming and dreaming, sometimes over a coffee, many times over a drink and many other times over a pizza...then it clicked! In between Victoria's last two cruise ship contracts, the pair headed to Naples to train as pizza chefs at the celebrated La Notizia pizzeria in Naples, 1 of only 3 pizza restaurants to have a Michelin fork. 2 months later they met and fell in love with Goldie The Scream Wagon, a 1978 J7 Peugeot former army ambulance from the South of France, who now lives on their drive in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. They hope you love her as much as they do and that your day or night can be made even more delicious with a Scream for Pizza!

We’re having a play with our opening hours for Sandyford. It’s trial and error, but for now we are going to close Monday’s. We’ve experienced a real shift in how people are going out and spending money over the past year or so. Changing our opening hours reflects what we see as happening in the current landscape. We’ve always adapted to what is going on,and so this is no different and a trial to see what works best for the business and team for now. We’d rather place our resources into a more concentrated offering where we can deliver at our best.

From this weekend we’re tweaking our opening hours slightly. We’ll now be closed Saturday and Sunday lunch times, so we can focus on Private Hire and pizza classes for the time being. See you all soon ☺️🍕
