I agree with Haley whole heartedly about supporting local. As a small business we try and support other small businesses by using them, but equally giving space to other businesses like our amazing florist Forget-me-not Lane Floristry and the bag lady we call her, and many others. Thank you to everyone who supports us, whether it’s a small or a large purchase, it keeps us here. ❤️

I thought I’d introduce myself properly to my fellow Great Park residents, as some of you may know me, but others might not!
Hello I’m Haley, I live here on Great Park, and I’m also the owner of GUINOT Gosforth.
I qualified in beauty therapy in 1993, and what started as a career I loved has grown into more than 30 years in the beauty industry. I own Body Beautiful Clinic in Crawcrook too, and have proudly worked with GUINOT professional skincare for over 25 years.
Although GUINOT is an internationally recognised skincare brand, GUINOT Gosforth is locally owned and independently run by me. I’m not a big corporate business I’m a local business owner who lives in the same community as many of my clients.
And that’s something I’m really proud of. ❤️
Having spent so many years building my businesses, I know just how much hard work, commitment and passion goes on behind the scenes. That’s why I genuinely believe in supporting local businesses wherever we can. Whether it’s buying from a local shop, grabbing a coffee, using a local service or recommending a business to a friend, those little things really can make a difference.
I’d love to see us Great Park residents getting behind the businesses on our doorstep, getting to know the people behind them and helping one another thrive.
And that includes my own business, of course! 😂❤️
So, who’s behind GUINOT Gosforth?
It’s a family business with a team I’m incredibly proud of.
❤️ Sophie, my daughter, works alongside me and was the very first GUINOT apprentice, qualifying in 2024. It’s incredibly special to see her building her own career in the industry I’ve loved for so long.
❤️ Melissa, who manages our salons, originally joined me as a placement student from Newcastle College. More than 18 years later, she’s still with me and is such an important part of the business.
❤️ Aimee was my second apprentice and is now a fully qualified therapist, having qualified in 2025 and is a very valued caring member of the team.
❤️ Sophia is our third apprentice and is working towards completing her NVQ in July 2027.
Helping train the next generation of beauty therapists and giving young people the opportunity to develop their skills and careers is something I’m particularly proud of.
❤️ Emma has worked across both salons and has recently got married. She’s also been in the beauty industry for over 30 years, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to our team. It’s lovely to share in both professional journeys and personal milestones along the way.
These aren’t just people who work for me. They’re people I’ve watched grow, develop their skills and become part of our story. Our business is about so much more than the name on the door.
From my home here on Great Park to the two salons, supporting people, building relationships and delivering professional skincare that gets results have always been at the heart of what I do.
So, while we proudly represent a nationally recognised skincare brand, we’re still a local business, with local people, real relationships and a genuine connection to our community.
I’d love us to make Great Park a place where we actively support one another. ❤️
