Based on permaculture principal earth care, people care and fair share with lot of exciting workshops. Earthlings is a conscious, healing cafe in the heart of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne - a small space devoted to healthy food, drinks and environment. Everything we serve is dairy free and refined sugar free. We are for the Earth and its people. We serve cold press juices, healthy smoothies, alternative ‘mylks’, healthy shots and specialty lattes, as well as a selection of teas and coffees. We also serve freshly made, dairy free, refined sugar free cakes, with a wide range of gluten free options. The interior of the café has been built using up-cycled wood, from the floors to the walls, to the countertops and beyond. We even hung the lights using recycled pallet wood. It is part of our ethos that reusing is always better than throwing away, and we hope to inspire people that they can also do the same. We are 100% plant based and vegan - no eggs, no milk. We are big advocates of H**p. It is a beautiful plant and can be used to solve a lot of environmental issues: due to its high fiber content, it can be used to make bioplastic, rope, even clothes, not to mention its excellent dietary benefits. We serve green h**p teas, h**p smoothies as well as h**p ‘mylk’. Our healthy drinks and sweet stuff are great for the immune system and overall well being, so you can eat delicious, soul nourishing food and feel good about it! As well as our food and drinks menu, we also invite people to do talks on the environment and general well being, placing us at the centre of community activity and the forefront of environmental information. Following the permaculture principles of earth care, people care and fair share, we offer a loving space where people can eat and drink healthily, express themselves, share ideas and inspire each other. In the evenings the café offers communal singing, chanting and kirtan, and are open to other workshop ideas, providing soul nourishing and healing activities for the local community. We welcome you.
