This is what I love about our lovely rural town.. its full of a community of traders, passionately serving the town, supporting one another and sharing the love.

Well it's definitely been a bit warmer of late, so as a little thank you to our amazing team, we called in to Unwind in Newcastle Emlyn to take some of their yummy smoothies back for them to cool down with! 😍 what a treat indeed 🥰 4 flavours and all served with lots of smiles, part of what makes our town so wonderful 💚

Taking a break with an ice cold smoothie, matcha made in heaven is definitely my fave off our smoothie menu!
I think Unwind and the Welsh wool shop are also a match made in heaven!
I'm still pinching myself that we did it... this old building totally bought back to life, and so many people enjoying it again.
Still some work and tweaks to invest in so the old building serves her new purpose, which makes us all the more grateful for your continued support.

Iced latte..... decaff or regular ... drink in or take away? ... what's your choice???....

I'm usually a full on caffeine addict but in the late afternoon for a cool down decaff suits me just fine!!

We've had a play around with furniture this morning! 🥵😊💪

When the workshop room isn't booked for classes, we have made the room more flexible for extra seating for customers due to demand!! 😊🙌

Weve created 10 more covers and a couple of extra chairs to pull up too! 🥰🪑🪑

We've got a nice cool fan in the room and a breeze through the window! 🪟🌬

I think it looks like a rather lovely spot for a coffee and cake with family or friends!

When we expanded the team and opened up Unwind aswell as The Welsh wool shop, I knew we had to look after our brilliant young team. They've all bought such unique skills to what is a pretty unique coffee shop!

The cost of living is tough, and wages don't seem to stretch that far, we know that all too well.

We have made a pledge to the living wage foundation that our staff are being paid above minimum wage and above the real national living wage. The national living wage is a more realistic hourly rate to be able to manage monthly bills.

It makes our own margins more tight, and it means we can't undersell the quality drinks and food we serve.

At least you know with every sip and every bite, the great team looking after you, are also being looked after too.

And signing up to our loyalty customer scheme means we can also give you some treats back into your pocket too!

A great buzz today in the coffee shop... coffee and cakes consumed.. crochet club crocheted.. and shawls were swished.. a beautiful shawl made by Lorraine using one of the giant balls of jewelspun ombre wool.
