Open 6 days a week Tuesday through Sunday featuring a menu encompassing the best of the moment. It was 2013 when The Woodspeen began its transformation from a run-down country pub into a beautiful, contemporary restaurant and bar. Designed with picture windows to take full advantage of the breathtaking views over the West Berkshire countryside and an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs at w
ork, creating their delightful dishes. In Autumn of 2014, The Woodspeen came to life with the help of former colleagues who came together with their wealth of knowledge in hospitality and a goal to create an exceptional restaurant. Not long after opening, The Woodspeen achieved their first Michelin star and a Wine Spectator award. Within a stone’s throw of the restaurant is our state-of-the-art cookery school, housed in a beautifully converted barn, overlooking our own garden. Our vegetable plot has inspired us to create our very own ’25 Yards’ gin and develop our Arbequina extra virgin olive oil. The Woodspeen is a very special place with a clear vision; to provide exceptional dishes using the best ingredients, warm and attentive service, and carefully chosen wines and cocktails. This once fading beauty has been restored to its former glory, in its rightful place at the heart of the local community.
