Today, sadly, we have to say goodbye to one of our amazing chefs, Manish.

Manish is young, loyal, hardworking and an exceptionally talented sushi chef who has been a valued member of the Sushi Maki Newbury team.

Unfortunately, our Skilled Worker sponsorship licence has been revoked by the Home Office, which means we are no longer able to sponsor Manish.

The Home Office has given him just 10 working days to find a new sponsor if he wants to continue working in the UK.

Manish has worked hard, paid his taxes and followed the rules, and we are doing everything we can to help him find a new opportunity.

We have his CV and would be very happy to forward it to any Japanese restaurant that is able to sponsor a Skilled Worker and may be interested in this talented chef.
