We’re sad to announce that McCann’s Coffee Shop will be closing on 13th January. It’s been an incredible journey, and we’re so grateful for the support from our wonderful community.

As part of the closure, we have a variety of items for sale, including our:

• Tables and chairs
• Cooking appliances
• Catering equipment
• Cabinets
• And more

If anyone might be interested in purchasing any of the items, please feel free to send me a message or comment below for more details on what we have.

We’re Saying Goodbye ☕️❤️

It is with heavy hearts that we announce McCann’s Coffee Shop will be closing its doors for the final time on 13th January 2025.

Over this year, we’ve loved being a part of this wonderful community, serving you delicious coffee, tasty treats, and heartfelt conversations. McCann’s has been more than just a coffee shop—it’s been a space for connection, creativity, and kindness.

We want to thank each and every one of you for your incredible support, whether you popped in for a morning coffee, joined us for events, or simply made us part of your day.

As we prepare to close, we hope you’ll stop by one last time to share a moment, enjoy your favourite drink, and say goodbye.

We’re excited to share that our Christmas tree at McCann’s is filling up with amazing gifts for those in need, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has already donated!

Here’s how you can get involved:

1️⃣ Visit McCann’s Coffee Shop and choose a tag from our tree, which lists an age group.
2️⃣ Purchase a gift suitable for that age group.
3️⃣ Bring the gift back and leave it under the tree.

We’re donating all the gifts to a local charity, ensuring they go to those who need them most this holiday season. 🎁

🗓️ Deadline: All presents will be collected on Friday, 20th December, so there’s still time to get involved and spread some Christmas cheer!

🎄 Pay It Forward Christmas Tree at McCann’s 🎄

We’re excited to announce a special initiative at McCann’s this festive season! A generous member of our community has donated a beautiful Christmas tree, and we’re turning it into a beacon of giving.

🌟 Here’s how it works:

• Our tree is decorated with tags, each representing an age group ranging from babies to adults.
• Members of the community can visit our shop, pick a tag from the tree, and purchase a gift matching the age group on the tag.
• We’ll wrap the presents and place them under the tree, ready for collection.

🎁 For families in need:

We want to make sure every child and parent in our community experiences the magic of Christmas! We are asking for local charities to come forward so we can make sure these presents get to those who need them the most.

🎄Donate a Christmas Tree for a Cause🎄

This holiday season, McCann’s coffee shop is excited to spread joy and give back to the community! We are looking for a beautiful christmas🎄to hang gift tags, which will help people donate presents to those in need.

How you can help:

● Donate a🎄If you have a tree you can part with, we would love to give it a new home in our shop!
● Support the Cause. If you would like to donate presents for those in need, gift tags will be hung on the tree and will be available for anyone to take and purchase that gift. Return, place under the tree, no need to wrap, we can do that for you.

Why it matters:

Your donation will help us create a warm and inviting space for our community to come together and give back during the holiday season. We will have lots of Christmas presents available free of charge for families in need this Christmas.

We’re excited to welcome Spirit Led Healing, a talented Pshycic Medium, to McCann’s for a day of insightful tarot readings!

🃏 20-minute readings available throughout the day

💫 £20 for a 20-minute session

Spirit Led Healing is kindly donating a % of the money from readings to our Pay It Forward initiative, helping those in our local community who are struggling financially to enjoy a meal or drink for free at McCann’s.

Spaces are limited, and bookings must be made in advance!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at McCann’s for our Newbury’s Got Talent event! We were blown away by the incredible performances and the amazing talent in our community.

✨ Congratulations to Jane Buckle, who was voted the winner! ✨ Your performance was truly entertaining.

Newbury’s Got Talent… Coming Soon! 🎤

Experience the best of local talent with free entry for spectators! Bring your friends and family to cheer on the performers and enjoy a fantastic show.

For contestants, there’s a £20 audition fee, which contributes to the £100 cash prize for the winner. Plus, you’ll gain exposure to over 2 million followers with live-streamed performances!

Auditions, semi final and final will take place at McCann’s Coffee Shop in the Kennet Centre.
