This is a brilliant post, when I was selling cakes I charged nothing near this. Trying to explain my (low) prices was embarrassing and I often had comments that I was too expensive and people haggling with my quotes. What I would have charged for a cake like this wouldn’t have even paid for materials. Bakes from an independent baker offer a completely different product than you get in a supermarket, the prices can’t compare and nor should they 👌🏼
