Dear customers,

On 22nd of August 2022, the West Berkshire council has posted a Prohibition of Motor Vehicles (Experimental Order) sign on Station Road regarding the temporary closure of it since pandemic (see below photo). This was to encourage active travel and they are currently carrying out a public consultation in order to make this permanent.

Since the closure of Station Road, we believe it is somewhat affecting our business and causing unnecessary inconvenience to our customers due to a lack of parking spaces nearby. Also, we think at times this made the traffic worse on Bartholomew Street.
