Open seven days a week, in a beautiful Grade II Listed building kindly loaned to us by the Kennet and Avon Canal Trust! Due to some unexpected technical issues, our website is currently not showing the page with our Menu.

🌸🥛 Jam first or cream first? It might be the biggest debate in Afternoon Tea history...
The answer depends on where you are in England.
In Cornwall, the tradition is to spread the jam first, then add a generous dollop of clotted cream on top.
In Devon, it’s the opposite, clotted cream goes on first, followed by the jam.
Both counties are fiercely proud of their way, and the debate has been going on for generations. The good news? Whichever way you choose, there’s no wrong answer if you’re enjoying a freshly baked scone!
So, we have to ask...
