It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the closure of Damson, with immediate effect. This affects all bookings from 12th September 2025.
Whilst this may come as a shock, it’s after much consideration and extensive efforts to explore alternative options, regrettably the decision has been made that we are unable to continue forward, driven by several financial and external factors.
I want to express, on behalf of the entire Damson team, our deepest thanks for your incredible support and loyalty over the past two years. You have been the heart of our restaurant; it has been a great privilege to serve you all.
I feel deeply privileged to have worked alongside such a gifted and dedicated team, past and present, who helped bring Damson to life every single day, I will forever be grateful for their support in what we were able to create together.
Opening Damson has been a dream come true. A time that’s demanded much, but left a lasting pride in what we achieved. Though this chapter is closing, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity and for every person that has been part of it.
For those who hold or have purchased gift vouchers, I will be consulting with legal and financial advisors to determine the fairest outcome for those affected. Further information will be provided to you as soon as possible and I can only express my deepest apologies for any distress caused.
I will make every effort to speak with all those affected personally, though it may not be feasible given the immediacy of the situation, I appreciate your understanding during this challenging time, thank you all once again.
