We’ve been absolutely inundated with calls asking two things: when can we book? and are dogs welcome?

Because so many of you have asked, we’ve decided that well-behaved dogs will be welcome on our terrace.

To make sure everyone can enjoy their visit, this will be subject to availability, and during particularly busy periods it will be at the management team’s discretion.

Thank you for all the amazing support and patience over the last week. We can’t wait to welcome you all back from Tuesday as we get the full Twelve06 experience up and running.

🔥 Mongolian Grill Experience: 12:00pm – 10:00pm throughout the summer

⚠️ Update from Twelve06 ⚠️

Our team is working hard to resolve the teething issues with our Mongolian Grill. We want to make sure everything is exactly right before bringing it back into service, and we’ll keep you updated on our social media as soon as we have more news.

In the meantime, the Mongolian Grill will be temporarily unavailable, but we’re still open every day from 9:00am–10:00pm serving our delicious artisan coffee, homemade cakes, cold drinks, and a warm welcome.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support. We really appreciate it and can’t wait to have the grill back up and running for you soon.

Well… opening weekends never go completely to plan! 😅

Unfortunately, we experienced an unexpected issue with our Mongolian Grill yesterday. Our engineers are already on it, and we’re doing everything we can to get it back up and running as quickly as possible. At the moment, we expect the grill to return next week at the earliest.

But we’re not letting a little setback spoil the weekend!

🍳 Breakfast will be served from 9:00am – 11:45am.

🍕 From 12:00pm, we’ll be serving:
• Fresh homemade sourdough pizzas
• Authentic Thai green curry with fragrant rice
• Fresh garlic & coriander naan breads

🎶 And from 3:00pm, we’re incredibly excited to welcome back the amazing Nomade Swing Trio, travelling all the way from Italy to perform live at Twelve06.

If anything, today is the perfect excuse to come down, enjoy some great food, a drink, and fantastic live music with amazing views on our terrace .

🎉 Tomorrow is the day… Twelve06 officially opens! 🎉

Tomorrow we proudly open the doors to Twelve06 – home of the North East’s first Mongolian Grill.

Join us as we cook fresh, locally sourced produce over our authentic live-fire grill, bringing a completely new dining experience to the North East.

🍳 Breakfast will be served from 10:00am, immediately after our opening ceremony.

We’re incredibly honoured to be joined by some very special guests:

🙏 Father Anthony from St Bartholomew’s Church will officially bless the restaurant.

🏏 England international cricketer Mark Wood will have the honour of cutting the ribbon.

💙 Nick Storey, founder of the wonderful local charity Brighter Storeys For All, will also say a few words.

This project has been years in the making, and we can’t wait to finally share it with you. We’d love to see as many of you there as possible to celebrate the beginning of this exciting new chapter.

We can’t wait for you to see what we’ve created here in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea. We hope you’ll be as proud of it as we are.
