We like to keep things independent and local at the Oak, as much as we can.

Thats why we are changing our house gins to support our friends at Nottingham based, Blue Monkey Brewery! They have a fab range, everything from their staple London Dry, to a Rhubarb and Custard and a Salted Caramel!

They really are delicious, come give them all a go! 🥂

🎄 Christmas Day bookings are now officially OPEN! 🎄

Join us at The Royal Oak for a Christmas Day to remember, with great food, festive drinks and plenty of Christmas cheer! 🍷✨

We currently have one sitting available 11:30am arrival for welcome drinks, followed by a 12pm lunch service.

Our bar will also be open from 11am until 4pm, so whether you're joining us for lunch or simply popping in for a festive drink, we'd love to see you! 🍻

We expect tables to fill quickly, so don't leave it too late!

On Wednesday 9th September at 6:30pm, enjoy a guided tasting featuring 7 wines - including red, white, rosé and sparkling perfectly paired with 4 delicious small bites from our kitchen. 🍽️🍷

£40 per person for the full evening.

We’ve got two cracking local brews making their way onto the pumps soon, and we think you’re going to want to try these! 👀🍻

🍯 LOXLEY – MILESTONE BREWERY | 4.2%

A beautiful deep golden ale that’s crisp, refreshing and seriously easy drinking. Brewed with Challenger and Progress hops, with a subtle hint of honey and a clean, gently bitter finish. Perfect for those who like their pints fresh, balanced and moreish. 🍺✨

🍓 BLUBARB & CUSTARD – BLUE MONKEY | 4.8%

Now for something a little different… 👀 A creamy, fruity and refreshing pale ale with a delicious vanilla custard character, a hit of hops and a tart, refreshing British rhubarb finish. Sweet meets sharp in one very moreish pint! 🍓🍮

Two completely different beers, both well worth getting stuck into.

Keep your eyes peeled for when they hit the pumps… 👀🍻
