Meanwhile, Sam’s been left in charge… and the anxiety levels are through the roof! 😅 (For once, it’s not because of the TV – we’ve put it through more test runs than NASA.)

💛 “JUMP THE PUMP” is back at half-time, raising money for Prostate Cancer UK. Thanks to all of your incredible support, we’re now officially in the Top 10 fundraising pubs in the UK! Not that we’re bragging… okay, maybe just a little. 🍻💙

🚨 WORLD CUP FINAL NOTICE 🚨

Firstly… we LOVE the excitement! ❤️ The support you’ve all shown our pub has been absolutely amazing, and we know everyone’s already trying to bag the best seat in the house! 🍻⚽

BUT… before anyone starts camping outside with a deckchair and a flask… 😅

📢 We are NOT opening bookings for the World Cup Final until the end of tomorrow evening’s game.

Bookings will be first come, first served, and Sam will be taking bookings from the final whistle tomorrow evening. So no bribing, no carrier pigeons, no “just popping my name down now”… nice try though! 😂

And in the immortal words of Tom Holland:

🚨 Everyone, meet Sox! 🐾

First things first… we’d like to issue a formal apology to Sox for the earlier case of mistaken identity. 😅 It turns out he’s a boy, not a girl! Sorry, mate! 💙

We thought we’d share some of his adventures from today because we’ve absolutely loved having him hanging around the pub.

To say he’s a character is a bit of an understatement… He’s been making himself right at home, charming customers, supervising staff, and generally acting like he owns the place! 🐱🍻

We absolutely LOVE him, and he’s brought so many smiles today.

That said, before anyone starts plotting a cat-napping mission, Sox already has a wonderful, loving family who will always be his number one. We’re just very lucky to have been part of his day and enjoy the occasional visit.

You’re welcome back anytime, Sox… just try not to confuse us again! 😹❤️
