Lunch - Thursday 25th June

We currently have a technical issue caused by equipment over heating, unfortunately this means we’re unable to open over lunch 😣 we’re working hard to get up and running ASAP.

We’re incredibly sorry for the disappointment this will cause, please check our page for updates.

Temporary change to our opening hours Thursday 25th - Saturday 27th 🥵

Firstly massive appreciation to all staff here & across the food industry, working in kitchens in this heat is certainly challenging!

We apologise for any disappointment this may cause, as mentioned last week - this short temporary closure is to allow all staff members an extended break away from the heat in the shop and time to refresh before the evening shift.
If we need to make any further adjustments we will keep you posted on our socials.

Huge thank you to our team for keeping the shop running whilst we’ve been away in Iceland 🇮🇸

First stop was Grindavík, a fishing town which was evacuated in late 2023 due to volcanic eruptions, the town is now known as ‘lava town’ due to being significantly impacted and still being monitored 🌋

We spotted a familiar vessel docked up who has supplied our haddock many times! Tómas Þorvaldsson GK 10 ⛴️ has just returned home, landing approx 500tons of fish 🎣 … and we have some landing in our shop today!

🐟 Haddock is Icelands most consumed fish and certainly growing in popularity here at Angells due to being a more sustainable option over cod & offering better value for money at £1 less per fillet ✔️🍽️
