A little story behind our Cenetta menu 🇮🇹💛

In Italian, Cenetta means a little dinner, and that’s exactly where the idea came from.

We know that eating out isn’t as affordable as it once was. With the cost of living rising and restaurants facing their ownchallenges, it’s becoming harder for families and friends to enjoy a meal out as often as they’d like.

But we don’t think enjoying good food together should have to be saved for special occasions.

That’s why we introduced our Cenetta Menu. A chance to enjoy the same fresh, homemade Sicilian food we love cooking, at a more affordable price.

It’s our way of finding the best of both worlds. Supporting our little independent restaurant while making it easier for you to come and enjoy a meal with us.

Our Cenetta menu is available Tuesday to Thursday from 5–6pm and Friday from 1–4pm, with children’s meals available for less than £10.

Whether it’s an early tea with the kids, a catch-up with friends or simply a night off cooking, we’d love to see you.

Good food, good company and a little taste of Sicily. That’s what A Tavola has always been about. 💛🍝

Friday is all about the fresh fish and we are in love with the quality and freshness of our Swordfish today…Swordfish is a staple diet in Sicily where they grill it…roll it…fry it
We also bought some lobster tails to trial out for our special December menu

We’re going all out on pumpkin this autumn! 🎃🇮🇹

With the seasons changing, we’ve been busy in the kitchen making the most of one of our favourite autumn ingredients.

And we’ve got a few lovely new dishes for you to try!

🍂 Sweet & sour pumpkin bruschetta – a little Sicilian twist on a seasonal favourite.

🍝 Pumpkin & ricotta ravioli – fresh homemade pasta, perfect for those colder evenings.

🍨 Pumpkin & olive oil gelato – something a little different, but we think you’ll love it!

From something savoury to something sweet, we’re finding all sorts of ways to enjoy pumpkin this year.

Hey, if you hadn’t heard, we’re back open! 🇮🇹💛

After three weeks away, it’s lovely to be back doing what we love and welcoming everyone through our doors again.

Yesterday we hosted our first event since reopening, welcoming Fabio from Donnafugata for a special evening of Sicilian w**e tasting. 🍷

It was a wonderful evening learning more about the w**es, the vineyards and the stories behind them, and sharing a little more of Sicily with you all.

A big thank you to Fabio and everyone who joined us. What a lovely way to start things off again!
