Assistant Manager – The Old Firehouse (New Mills, High Peak)
As The Old Firehouse continues to grow, we’re looking for a confident and reliable Assistant Manager to join our team and support our expanding operations.
What We’re Looking For
-Friendly, confident, and comfortable in a customer‑facing role
-Proactive and able to take initiative
-Organised, with strong communication skills
-Able to work effectively in fast‑paced environments
-18+
-Relevant experience is preferred, but full training is provided, including:
-Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene
-Health & Safety training
-Operational and role‑specific training
Key Responsibilities
-Supervising and supporting a small team
-Coordinating when orders need to be started
-Organising and grouping delivery orders efficiently
-Answering the phone and speaking with customers
-Assisting with general day‑to‑day operational tasks
Hours & Contract
-Permanent position
-Working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoons/evenings
-Approximately 20 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours
