🚨 DEADLINE TODAY – LEIROS PARC DEVELOPMENT 🚨

TODAY is the deadline to object to the huge Codi development of 250 homes at the top of Leiros Parc/Daphne Road.

If you have concerns, please send a quick email today to:
📧 Email: [email protected]
📋 Include the Reference: P2026/0478

Every adult in your household can send a separate objection - each one counts.

Some of the main concerns are:

* Very large scale – 250 CODI homes is a significant development
* Hundreds of extra vehicles adding to school-run and rush-hour congestion on Daphne Road, Penywern Road and surrounding routes
* Extra pressure on local schools, doctors and dentists
* Existing drainage problems and the impact of building on higher ground above existing homes
* Years of construction HGVs, noise and disruption on Penywern and local roads
* Permanent loss of the green landscape, with fields, hedgerows and trees removed and habitats for wildlife including red kites, badgers and foxes lost forever
* Loss of accessible countryside that many locals use every day for walking and exercise

A quick email to object and explain your concerns is important.

⚠️ Please send it TODAY so your objection is counted, and share this with family, friends and neighbours who may also want to object.

25yrs ago, Wednesday 16th May 2001 at 2pm, I took the reins over as Bryncoch Post Office’s new postmistress from Mrs Beryl Williams who had been here 30 yrs. Never did I expect to still be here running it today 🥰

Moving to a new area with my family, not knowing anything about the business was a bold move. I’ve loved every minute.

It has to be said it hasn’t been without its ups and downs. They tried to close me down 3 times. 2016 was the hardest times. Post Office Ltd decided to take away my core tier payment, (my basic salary) and said “put in another business to run alongside the PO or close”
This was when the coffee shop was born. This was done purely to keep the Post Office in the village, exactly where it has been for over 100yrs

Without the support of you, the community of Bryncoch and its surrounding areas, we would never have survived. I am extremely grateful to you all for the truly amazing support.

I can’t predict what will happen in the next 25yrs as the world is a different place to when I started, and I’m getting older 🤣
but here’s to now and whatever the future brings 🥂🍾🥳

Thank you 👏🏻👏🏻
