We started with a flurry.

It was lockdown bonkers!!!

It’s only right that we finish how we started, it has to be bonkers!!!!

As a thank you to all our friends, customers, fellow villagers, Facebook & Instagram followers……….

We will be giving everybody free gelato from 3pm-4pm on our last day, Sunday 2nd April.

We want to see you and we want you to send us off with a smile 😊

PLEASE come, enjoy and see us out with a massive bang, exactly how we started.

There are some changes coming to Urban Kitchen & Urban Gelato on 3rd April.

I have made the tough decision which has not been taken lightly to finish my association with Urban Kitchen & Urban Gelato.
It’s the right time for me to step away and let somebody else take on the mantle to be able to make it bigger and better.

I will finish with UK/UG as passionately as I started with it, so it will carry on into good hands.

The new owners taking it over are called Nat & Becky of the mobile bar ‘Cock & Toothpick’
They will rename the business ‘The Old Filling Station’ (Tofs). They will have a great passion for it and will also open in the evenings as well as 7 days a week with longer hours.

They will be looking to take on as many of the existing employees to make it work.

I would like to thank each and every customer for the journey that UK/UG has been on.
From the beginnings in Urban Angels selling Gelato in lockdown, which was one of the most bizarre, crazy fun times to have experienced, to making the village tea rooms a better place with a difference.
I know UG and UK were a big part of this village during the many lockdowns and it was a pleasure to have been involved.

Wishing the girls and the staff all the very best for success and the future, looking forward to seeing it’s progression.

Tofs will be taking over the page to introduce themselves and what’s happening.

UK & UG will remain open until Sunday , normal hours.
