Right, listen here, England!
We know, we know—us lot in Wales usually spend our time practicing our best "anybody but England" chants whenever you lot are playing. It’s practically our national sport! But tonight? We’re putting the sheep jokes and the rugby rivalry on ice.
We’ve checked the forecast, we’ve crunched the numbers, and frankly, we’d rather see you lot put a shift in against Mexico than endure another night of "what could have been." We’re officially crossing our fingers for you—mostly because we’re secretly hoping you win so we can complain about how unbearable you’re going to be on social media tomorrow.
Go on then, get the job done. Make those passes stick, keep your cool, and try not to give us a heart attack before halftime. We’re in your corner, begrudgingly, with a lukewarm pint and a whole lot of nervous energy.
