Who’s joining us this weekend?

Food served til 8pm tonight with live music from Jody Jennings and Gemma Rose ❤️

This Saturday we’re serving lunch as usual and then entering party mode from 5pm will live music from The Duo Brothers followed by The Wozzas. Complimentary bar snacks in the evening 😍

Sunday - Father’s Day - almost fully booked for lunch! But open all day for drinks 🍷 🍺

Pop in to see us, we’d love to see as many of you as possible 💗

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your messages of support ❤️ it’s been quite overwhelming reading all of your messages and we will miss you all so much!

We’ll be leaving the pub at the end of June and we are very hopeful that someone will take over directly from us, or shortly after. 🍻

To say our goodbyes, we will be having a bit of a party weekend this coming weekend and it will look like this:

❤️Friday 19th June - Jody Jennings & Gemma Rose will be bringing all of our favourite vibes to The Lord C. Both Jody & Gemma have become friends of ours and we are so grateful to them for kicking off our goodbye weekend in true TLC style 🎉🎶
We’ll be running a slightly reduced food menu, and you can book tables for drinks or food via the website as usual.

❤️Saturday 20th June - The Duo Brothers will be singing us into the evening from 5pm, followed by The Wozzas (grandad to grandson band - just blimmin brill!) and then the Duo brothers and Wozzas all together to finish off. This will be a wonderful musical evening with talented entertainers encouraging us to party 🎉 Limited food menu available too!

❤️Sunday 21st June - Father’s Day and acoustic music set from Ken & Tim Warrillow 1-3pm. Full Sunday Father’s Day menu available between 12 and 3pm. Booking essential!

You’ll be seeing us throughout the whole weekend as we want to say goodbye to as many of you as possible, so please do call in if you can 😊

The pub will then remain open and hopefully still serving food until the evening of Sunday 28th June as that will be our last day, but as we said… we hope we have good news for you soon about someone taking over. 🙏 (For up to date daily food menu, please check our social media each day)

Well this is a tough one to write… after the most incredible 2 and a half years, we are leaving the Lord Combermere at the end of this month.

It has been our pleasure to become part of the Audlem community and since the day we took over The Lord C, you have been kind, supportive and generous with your custom. It has never been taken for granted, and we cannot thank you enough for being the absolute best community and customers.

However, things have become harder and harder in this economic climate. Many of you may have seen hospitality in the headlines lately and there’s a lot of truth in the reports - government policies have made things extra tough in a climate where costs keep rising. We can’t ignore the challenges and unfortunately it has become unsustainable for us to carry on.

We are gutted but remain forever grateful for the times we have had here. Our team have worked so hard to create memorable experiences and food for you all, and we are so proud of each and everyone of them. THANK YOU to them all ❤️

There is still some uncertainty about what happens next at The Lord C and we hope it can continue in some form without us, and will keep you updated as and when we know more.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the company, the good times, the laughs, the epic parties, the shared moments and stories and for making us all so welcome in Audlem. ❤️

We will be having a goodbye party so keep an eye out for that 🎉🎉 And if you have any gift vouchers, please try and redeem them over the next few weeks, or send us an email if you can’t.

Jessie is one of those super talented people, but so modest with it! She’s blimmin brill. She actually had one of her original songs played by Chris Moyles on radio X the other day, so you are quite literally watching a future star in action… down the local 🍺😊

Well the big weekend is here and we kicked things off last night with our mate .jennings bringing summery vibes to The Lord C.

It was a brilliant night, and there’s sooooo much to come. Visit website for the full line up over the weekend where you can enjoy all three pubs in our beautiful village ☀️ 🍺 💃

We have plenty of shade, plenty of cold drinks and loads of yummy food available to enjoy inside or outside.

It is going to be busy, so get down early if you fancy a seat in the shade! And remember… we will all be extra thirsty this weekend with the hot weather so please drink responsibly. We can give you a free glass of tap water at anytime, you just have to ask. ❤️

And finally, please remember to be kind to our team who are working extra hard to ensure you have a great weekend. You will have to queue for drinks, but we will serve you as quickly as we can! The team will also be working extra hard because of the heat, so your kindness is greatly appreciated 🥰
