The MMC Venue and MMC Cafe have the great honour in hosting the 100th Anniversary memoriam of the cross on castle hill tomorrow.
Due to this the cafe will have a slightly reduced menu and last orders for food will be 12pm . Coffee and cakes will continue to be served until 4pm. Thank you .

Don’t forget knit and natter in our foyer to tomorrow morning 10am -12pm. Amazing effort so far by everyone who’s been involved, soooo many poppies made 🌺🧶There cafe will have Iced coffees, milkshakes , smoothies and Icecreams on hand if you need to cool off . What a great success Revival day was for Mountsorrel . So many happy faces visit the village for the annual festival of fun . Well done to all of those involved in organising such an amazing event , and all of your wonderful volunteers who help, marshal the roads, monitor car parks , assist stall holders , take part in the parade , trim up the village with bunting and signage , litter pick , empty bins , the list is endless . Thank you so much for the all of the hard work. The was buzzing . We all had an amazing ( all be it-tiring day ) . We can’t wait for next year 😃🥰☀️😎 Mountsorrel REVIVAL Mountsorrel Community Team

Such a great morning was had by all who attended our junior bake off yesterday , we were so busy and having so much fun we didn’t even get chance to take many photos . He’s just a few of our set up and finished cupcakes 😁🧁🍰

The lovely Leslie Longmire and his wife Gloria visited us yesterday and bought in another one of Les’s home grown cucumbers for us to use on our salads . Thank you Les they taste amazing 😃😋🥒

A very busy start to the repair cafe today . A vast variety items, from music boxes , retro record players, old clocks and even a vintage painting of the cottages on the green. Thank you to The Fix It Group 23 for all of the time you give to fix all of the items for the local community .
