💍☕ A Very Special Day for the Roast Family! ☕💍

This Friday, 14th August, our much-loved Karen is getting married to Michael! 🤍🥂
Karen is such a special part of Roast Coffee House, and there was absolutely no way we were going to miss her big day… so we’re closing the shop for the day and heading off to celebrate with the happy couple! 💒✨

💍 FRIDAY — CLOSED
☕ SATURDAY — OPEN FROM 9AM (instead of our usual 8am)

We’re giving ourselves that wee extra hour on Saturday morning… we have a feeling it might be needed after the celebrations! 🥂😂

We hope all our lovely customers will join us in wishing Karen & Michael a wonderful wedding day and a lifetime filled with love, laughter and happiness. 🥰

PLEASE PLEASE READ THE FULL POST BEFORE APPLYING 🫶

We are looking for a part-time short order cook who is reliable, friendly, and can work well in a busy environment to join our team.

The role includes:
• Preparing and cooking breakfast items (eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, etc.)
• Making paninis, toasted sandwiches, wraps, baked potatoes etc to order
• Cooking omelettes and other hot food items effectively and efficiently.
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines
• Ensure food is presented neatly and served to a high standard.

Requirements for the role that are absolutely essential:
• Has previous experience in the above
• Has worked with equipment such as grills, panini presses, toasters etc
• Confident in working in busy, fast paced environments
• Must be over 21
•Ensure equipment is used safely and correctly
• Is able to clean and maintain equipment after use.
• Food hygiene certification

Working Hours:
• Shifts between 8.00 am & 4.30pm (shifts negotiable)
• Spread across 7 days
• Weekend availability required

What We’re Looking For:
• Friendly, positive attitude
• Team player
• Someone who takes pride in their work
