Hi everyone. The Project is partnering again with Laura from a North Lanarkshire Disability Charity. She is running 6 workshops on various topics. They start this Tuesday 5th May and look really interesting. See the message below from Nicola (who is helping Laura with organising the workshops) if you are interested in coming along. Are you disabled , a carer or simply helping someone out with things they need due to age or disability?
North Motherwell NOP has joined forces with a local disability/ carers charity to bring you some fantastic information and help sessions !!!
These will consist of
Carer awareness ... ( Maybe you don't even know you are a carer )
Tackling poverty ( basically are u getting everything you are entitled to! )
Mind rooms ( neuro divergent advocacy group )
HEAT and SP Energy network ( help with fuel costs freebies etc )
When : starts Tue may 5th 12.30 - 2.30 for 6 weeks
Where : White hall at north Motherwell parish church
Kids : there will be no crèche but kids are welcome and we will provide some things to do .. but as always they are your responsibility!
