This is for serving as much local ales as we can, well served, and supporting beer makers within 30 miles, regularly.

Real Ales On:
Purple Moose Brewery/Bragdy Mŵs Piws with Snowdonia - 3.6% ABV - Golden pale ale features a light-gold colour, a refreshing taste with biscuit and honeyed malt notes, and a zesty citrus-floral hop finish.

Weetwood - Cheshire Beers and Spirits with Mad Hatter - 3.9% ABV - Ruby ale, a light, refreshing session bitter using American Amarillo hops to deliver a distinct spicy and floral character.

Guest Keg Ale:

Tenby Brewing Co. with Son of a Beach - 4.2% ABV - Flagship American Pale Ale. Tropical hopped APA, dry hopped with Mosaic/Simcoe/Equanot. Super refreshing.

In the kitchen:
Soup: Roasted Cauliflower served with warm half baguette and Welsh butter -£6
Bar Snacks: Jalapeno poppers served with smoky hot honey - £5
Vegetable Special: Baked sweetcorn and cheese with coriander-lime crema and salsa - +£2

Spitting Feathers with Best Bitter - 3.8% ABV - A celebration of two decades in brewing—this classic best bitter blends premium British malts for a rich copper pour and smooth caramel body, balanced by floral English hops and a touch of fruit. Finished with their signature house yeast for a timeless, perfectly balanced pint.
Gluten Free and Vegan.

Happy Thirst-day!

We have replaced the dartboard with a better one this time, come have a throw! We haven’t updated our signage or social media quite yet, but we are opening at 4pm on Fridays now for drinks. Food still served from 5pm.

Magic Dragon Brewing with Psychedelic Sunshine - 3.8% ABV - Wrexham - It is known for its clear golden colour and is described as a well-balanced brew packed with sunshine fruits, including notes of peach, citrus, and orange.

Spitting Feathers with Cheshire Red - 4.8% ABV - Waverton, Chester - A bold British take on the classic red ale, it is characterized by its rich amber-red colour and tasting notes of caramelized biscuit and currants. Gluten- free.

Magic Dragon Brewing with Border Bitter - 3.8% ABV - a classic best bitter. It is an amber, sessionable ale with a malty, caramel sweetness with a smooth, hoppy finish.

Hafod Brewing Company Ltd with Loggerheads - 3.8% ABV - a smooth amber ale from Hafod Brewing Company, named after Loggerheads Country Park. A firm favourite here.

Weetwood - Cheshire Beers and Spirits with Harlequin - 4.6% ABV - Aromatic English hops, especially the punchy Harlequin, are patterned together to create this diamond of a pale ale which has crisp citrus hop notes, satisfying mouthfeel and a long, dry finish.

Crafty Devil Brewing Company with Mikey Rayer (All Dayer) - 4% ABV - A fresh and easy drinking session pale ale made with Citra and Cascade hops. Cardiff. Gluten Free

Treboom Brewery with Dragon Tale - 5.0% ABV - Features a hazy pale gold colour and a strong citrus hop aroma, leaving a dry, bitter finish. Like many traditional cask-conditioned real ales, this beer undergoes a secondary fermentation process inside the cask. This method adds a natural, gentle carbonation without relying on artificial gas pumps.

Bragdy Conwy Brewery with Welsh Pride - 4.0% ABV - Copper coloured bitter Orange citrus and malt aroma with a sweet, nutty, malty finish.

Weetwood - Cheshire Beers and Spirits with Old Dog - 4.5% ABV. Maris Otter and dark roasted malts create a wonderful deep colour and buckets of English hop varieties combine for extra flavour.

Spitting Feathers with Brainstorm - 4% ABV. Spitting Feathers Brewery is a highly-rated 4.0% ABV blonde pale ale. Brewed with lager malts and dry-hopped with Citra, it delivers a fresh, zesty citrus flavour with a mild hoppy aroma. It is also fully vegan-friendly and Gluten-free.
