Community Statement
East Chevington Social Club would like to make the following public statement regarding a recent incident.
We are aware of an incident involving a member of the public who was subjected to offensive behaviour. We would like to make it absolutely clear that racism, discrimination, and any form of abusive behaviour have no place in our club and will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
East Chevington Social Club operates a strict zero-tolerance policy towards racism and discrimination. Any person found engaging in such behaviour on our premises will be challenged immediately, refused further service, removed from the premises, and may be permanently barred from returning.
Following this incident, immediate action has been taken against the individual responsible.
We would also like to offer our sincere apologies to the member of the public affected by this incident. The behaviour displayed does not reflect the values of our club, our members, or our staff.
If any individual has concerns about behaviour within or around the club, we encourage them to contact club management, staff, or committee members directly so that appropriate action can be taken.
We remain committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for everyone.
