⭐️IT’S BACK⭐️
Our quizzes are back! So get those thinking caps on and come and join our first quiz of the season to raise money for our prickly little friends! Greatfields hedgehog rescue who looked after our little Percy when we found him abandoned in the pub garden. See you there for a fun packed evening. There will of course be a raffle on the night so raffle prizes always welcome! 🍻🤓⭐️

The Union Inn is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced pub chef to join our team.
We’re a traditional town pub serving good, honest, home-style food, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in what they put on the plate.
We’re looking for someone who: • Has experience in a busy pub or similar kitchen
• Can work independently and manage a kitchen confidently
• Takes pride in preparing and presenting good-quality food
• Is reliable, organised and works well under pressure
• Can help with menu ideas and specials
• Understands the importance of cleanliness and food hygiene
• Most importantly — cares about serving good food!
We offer good rates of pay, a friendly working environment and flexibility around the right person.

⭐️ Our usual steak night and Friday club this week. We will also be going back to or autumn/winter food hours which is Monday - Saturday lunch 12-14:30 Dinner 17:00 - 20:30
Sundays carvery 12-14:30 evening 17:00 - 20:00

🎉 Carnival week🎉
And we’re so excited and ready to go! We are open tonight and tomorrow for your take away beers (we also have 2 pint take out containers available) for the music in the square! We have our usual steak night on Wednesday, our carnival buffet breakfast Thursday morning, then we’re open all day/evening for takeaway drinks! On Saturday AFTER the soapbox derby we’re giving a pound off pint for our intrepid drivers! We Hope everyone has a great carnival week🎉🍻
