💔 We never thought we’d have to write a post like this… but our little pet boutique was robbed.
We have CCTV and images of the person involved, but for legal reasons we’re unable to share those images or identify anyone publicly.
So instead, we’ve created a completely fictional cartoon character inspired by the general appearance of the person involved. It is NOT a photograph and NOT an identification of anyone.
We’re sharing this because we want to raise awareness and remind other small businesses to be vigilant. If you have any genuine information about what happened, please pass it to the appropriate authorities rather than confronting or approaching anyone.
But honestly, beyond the robbery itself, this has really upset us.
We are a mum and daughter who have worked incredibly hard to build this little business. We only celebrated ONE YEAR OPEN last week 🥹🐾 and we’ve poured so much of ourselves into getting here.
There have been long days, late nights, financial stress, endless deliveries, restocking, cleaning, packing orders and all the other things that come with running a small business.
This isn't a big company where things simply get replaced. This is our livelihood. Our dream. Something we have built together.
Every item on our shelves has been bought with money we've worked incredibly hard for. Every sale means something to us, and every customer who chooses to support our little shop means the world.
And to have someone come in and take from us so casually, with seemingly no concern whatsoever, is honestly heartbreaking.
We know businesses deal with theft, but when it happens to you, you realise just how personal it feels when you've worked so hard for every single thing.
We're disappointed. We're angry. We're hurt.
But most of all, we're determined not to let this take away from what we've achieved together.
One year open. Mum and daughter. Still standing. With our small team 🤎🐾
To every person who has supported us, shopped with us, recommended us, shared our posts and helped our little business grow thank you. We genuinely couldn't do it without you.
