Despite our last post, we've now taken the decision to CANCEL tonight's Cotswold Barn Evening Car & Bike Night! (Wednesday 2nd September) ⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️

We apologise for any confusion and for anyone who was planning on braving the weather tonight, unfortunately circumstances are beyond our control!
If you could help get the word out that the event is no longer running we'd really appreciate it - thank you! 🗣️

ROAD CLOSURE 🚧⛔️ WE ARE STILL OPEN 🤩✅

It's that time of year again where our road is closed for tree maintenance. It's very important work to keep everyone safe but it does mean that everyone thinks we're closed - we're not! Right now our plan is to remain open for the duration - we will update if anything changes, please don't forget about us over the next two weeks! 😢

This SUNDAY 23rd AUGUST from 9:30am - The 5th Annual Cotswold Vintage Bus Rally 🚌

🤗 EVERYONE welcome!
🌭 Special Event Menu served 9:30am until 3pm.

This is a big event run in collaboration with Troopers Lodge Motor Services - all further information can be found via the event link or the Cotswold Vintage Bus Rally page.

A note from the organisers regarding parking & payment: 🅿️

Polite Reminder.
🚍 The first park and ride is timetabled at 09.45.
🅿️Please DO NOT park at Cotswold Barn, parking on site is strictly for those with a valid Blue Badge only. General customers of Cotswold Barn should park in the park & ride car park as marked on the map, you will then receive a free return ride to Cotswold Barn café & gift shop!
➡️ Follow the signs for park and ride. It is Stow-on-the-Wold side of the CB, roughly 3/4 mile.
🥪 Cotswold Barn will be open for food and drink all day, serving a limited menu.
❌ Please do NOT bring picnics or such like on site.
🍦Ice creams are also available!
🐶 Dogs are permitted on the Buses with Driver or Conductors discretion. If the owner says no, please respect the decision. (Cotswold Barn is dog friendly too!)
🚌 Buses are running all day, these journeys are all free. If you would like to make a donation to ongoing restorations it will be most appreciated by the owners. They are all self funding and running these vehicles out of their own pocket.
🚸 Children, pets and such like must be kept under constant observation especially in the loading areas. ❗️The Buses are moving around all day.
🅿️ Parking: Please park responsibily, allow others to be able to leave but make sure you keep it tight.
💰Payment: All payments will be taken at the Cotswold Barn. Do not try to pay on the Bus as the Park and Ride is free. You can also purchase a program at the same time.

ATTENTION CUSTOMERS! ✨
We will be CLOSED this Wednesday 12th August to celebrate Joe & Lucy's 10th anniversary where they will be renewing their vows in the field where they tied the knot a decade earlier.
A lot has happened in the last 10 years as they will be joined by their 4 beautiful children too! ☀️
It's a double special occasion too as it's Lucy's birthday. The universe has aligned, so don't forget to look to the skies on Wednesday evening for the first Solar Eclipse in decades (93% here!) as well as the peak of the yearly Perseid Meteor Shower. 🌘
We look forward to a spectacular day and hope all your shooting star wishes come true! 💫

☀️❌ WE ARE CLOSING EARLY❌☀️

It is absolutely scorching out there today. Because of this crazy heatwave, we’ve decided to close early at 2pm today (Tuesday 23rd) tomorrow (Wednesday 24th), and Thursday (25th).
Our team works so hard behind the machine and in the kitchen, and it’s just getting way too hot for them. We want to make sure everyone stays safe, cool, and comfortable! 🧊
We'll be open normal hours in the mornings if you need your caffeine fix (highly recommend an iced latte this week).

THANK YOU so much ☺️ to the crew who came along to our Cotswold Barn Evening Car & Bike Meet in June!
We are now equipped with buckets and tins to help fundraise for this incredibly worthwhile charity. Our next big event is next WEDNESDAY 10th JUNE - BIKERS NITE once again raising money for Midlands Air Ambulance. So while you're supporting our small business, you can support this great charity too. And while we hope we never need to use them, we know just how vital these services are in such a rural location.
