We all know that home-made cakes are the best. We know exactly what goes into them, the ingredients, the time, the magic, and the love. So when I get an idea for a new cake, it’s great when you get phenomenal feedback from customers. And that is exactly what we’ve had a lot of recently. Our brownies are ‘The best we’ve ever had’ ( I quote) and the newest addition to our cake range, The Brownie with caramel, peanuts and sea salt topping’ warmed with a scoop of Luxury Lakes Ice Cream was ‘heaven on a plate’ ( I quote again)

That kind of feedback warms my heart, knowing that that cake I made, has made a lot of our customers so happy.

To our lovely customers…. Thank you once again for your loyal custom, your great feedback and your recommendations to your family and friends. It means a great deal to us.

Now I’m off to finish off another peanut caramel brownie.

All suggestions for an apt name for it would be very welcome

Remember, if you are looking for a more relaxed weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the music festival, why not take a trip to the beautiful Heysham Village. Full of charm, steeped in history, and a lovely place to visit for a quiet, relaxing day out.

The weather is going to be beautifully warm so why not head to the Old Barn Coffee Lounge where you can enjoy a coffee, cold drink or ice cream al fresco, or if you’re looking for a cooler place to relax, sit inside where you can cool down.

All our usual array of toasties will be available, as will our home-made cakes. These bad boys will be available too- giant stuffed cookies with Nutella, Cookies & Cream or WhiteChocolate.

The return of the cookie pie.

We have a lovely family who visit us on a regular basis who love our cookie pies, sometimes going as far as to suggest potential fillings for them. This one is up there amongst their favourites.

Kinder Bueno, white chocolate & slices of kinder chocolate filling all encased in home made cookie dough. What’s not to like?

Always a favourite. Come and get one while they last.

Home made fudgy brownie base, super gooey home made caramel, topped with red skin peanuts, salted peanuts and a sprinkle of sea salt. Add a layer of milk and dark chocolate and we’re good to go. Enjoy

After what seems like a very long time, we are now fully fit and ready to hit the road running - well more like a steady pace really!! We are opening on Monday 29th June so pop down to Heysham village for the warmest of welcomes, a bit of a chin wag and perhaps a spot of lunch and a nice drink. Can’t wait to see you all
