We will not be open tomorrow, 20th September.

We will reopen as normal on Tuesday, 22nd September for all your cravings and to provide the company! 💬

IMPORTANT NOTICE

We’ve had a pretty rough morning… our main route into work has been closed and to top it off, we’ve got a flat tyre!

We are hoping to be in between 10 and 10.30 today, all being well! Service may be a little slower than usual for the first hour as resident scone expert Bob needs to visit our friends at pauljarroldtyres so we can get home this evening! 😃

Sorry for any inconvenience caused. We’ll be there and open as soon as we can!

But we wanted Clare and Bob’s to be a little bit different.

A place where you can sit down and have a chat.

A place where the person behind the counter knows your order.

A place for birthdays, catch-ups, lunches, celebrations, rainy afternoons and those little moments when you just fancy a nice cup of tea and a slice of cake. ☕🍰

We’re incredibly lucky to have so many lovely customers who have supported us, recommended us to friends and kept coming back through the door.

Sometimes you don’t want fast food.

You want somewhere cosy, somewhere friendly, somewhere you can actually sit down and enjoy your lunch.

That’s where we come in. ❤️

At Clare and Bob’s, we love keeping things simple: good food, homemade treats, proper cups of tea and a friendly welcome.

Our homemade and scones are made with care, because we think the little things make a big difference. 🥰

Whether you’re joining us for lunch, popping in for coffee and cake or treating yourself to one of our famous scones, we hope you can taste the love that goes into what we do.

And if Bob’s in the kitchen… you know there’s probably a scone or two on the go! 👀😂

We are saying goodbye to our Ashley (right 😊) who is leaving for university this week. Ash has been with us for a while now and has really grown into such a great character and a brilliant person to have around the tea room.

He will be missed by Clare, Bob, Matthew and Tom and customers in the tea room as well as by many friends and family around him as he made such a great impression to all those around him. We know that whatever he goes on to do from here, he will do an incredible job!

We wish him the best of luck with his studies in university and hope you will all join us in thanking him for his time, energy and efforts for the last few years. From being a shy ‘new boy’ to being a household name in the tea room, we want to thank him so much for everything he has done for us.

Please join us in saying a huge THANK YOU and a massive good luck to Ash on his new course!
