Looking for a fun, festive way to get active and give back this Christmas? Lace up your trainers and take on a Christmas run while raising vital funds for The Salvation Army! Throughout the month of December, we have places available for:

• Liverpool Santa Dash
• Olympic Park Christmas Run (East London)
• Santa in the City (Central London)
• Battersleigh Running Festival (South London)
• Run Media City Christmas Runs (Salford)
• Wimbledon Common Christmas Run

With 3K, 5K, 10K and Half Marathon options, there’s something for every running level. Introducing the Mold Summer Scarecrow Competition! We’re excited to launch a brand new competition for residents and businesses in Mold – and it’s perfect for getting the whole community involved! Looking for something fun to keep the kids busy over the school holidays? This is a brilliant family activity – and best of all, it’s free to enter!
Categories & Prizes - we’ll be crowning two winners:
3) Residential Winner – Earn ultimate bragging rights plus a beautiful bouquet of flowers, kindly provided by Eco Blooms (the founder of this competition)
2) Business Winner – Bragging rights and a winner’s plaque to proudly display

How to Enter
1. Get creative and build your scarecrow
2. Take a photo of your masterpiece
3. Upload it to the competition event page (Totally Mold Events) or Scan the QR code to go straight to the page
Competition opens: 27th July and closing date 6th September 2026. So there’s plenty of time to start planning your creation – so let your imagination run wild! The event may say closed (sorry error on our part) but you can still upload using QR code or message this page with your entry, name and postcode.

Judging - the top 10 entries in each category will be shortlisted and judged by our esteemed panel… who may even visit some scarecrows in person!
Important Information - only entries which have been uploaded to the official event page will be eligible.

Salvation Army Mold. Come and have a look. All welcome. We have clothes, shoes, handbags all sorts. And downstairs enjoy a coffee, tea, cake and a selection of light meals. Tuesday - Saturday.
